I am a photographer, videographer, and writer based in Washington, D.C. I specialize in editorial visual storytelling. I am an associate editor of photo and media at The Chronicle of Higher Education. My work has appeared in The Chronicle of Philanthropy, American City Business Journals, and Patch.com, among others.

My portfolio draws from more than two decades experience producing multimedia journalism. When working in the studio, covering news in the field, or capturing the special moments of a wedding, I aim to produce unique, creative and dynamic visuals that tell a story.

In my personal work, I find inspiration in daily life, particularly the urban landscape, public transit, and bicycling community. You'll often find me snapping shots with my collection of antique Polaroid and 35mm film cameras.
